Getting to Madikwe
There is a scheduled Federal Air flight that flies in and out of the Reserve daily. Should you wish to charter a plane to suit your own time frame this can be arranged through Madikwe Charters. Aircraft using the landing strip include private light aircraft and helicopters as well as charter flights. The 2km long strip is able to accommodate planes of up to 12-seater capacity.
There are two landing strips located within the reserve; one on the eastern side and another on the western side. Guests will land on the airstrip closest to their lodge and a game vehicle and ranger will transport guests directly to their lodge.
