	For all bookings a 25% deposit is required within 7 days of making the reservation. Please note that a reservation is not secure until a deposit is received. Makanyane reserves the right to automatically release any accommodation being held where the required deposit has not beenreceived within the state period.

The balance of the account must be paid within 28 days of arrival.

Payments can be made by American Express, Diners, Visa and MasterCard or by wire transfer.

All extras to be settled at the lodge on departure

N.B. All accommodation rates quoted are per person per night sharing.
Single accommodation attracts a supplement of an additional 50% of the quoted tariff (Please note that wherever possible, this single supplement will not be charged).
The public rates are quoted in South African Rand, whilst payment may be made in any international currency.
There are daily scheduled flights to Madikwe Game Reserve from Johannesburg.  Air transfers and road transfers can be arranged.

Methods of Payment...

Credit card - please request a credit card authorisation form from our reservations department which will need to be completed and returned.

Bank Transfer - please ask our reservation department for these details.

Booking information, such as any special dietary requirements, any allergies or medical conditions, guest’s contact number (if possible) and the estimated time of arrival at the lodge needs to be communicated well in advance of arrival at the lodge.

Group Policy...

For 9 to 15 full paying guests one guest pays 50% of the rate
For over 15 full paying guests the 16th is accommodated free of charge

Pilots and Guides...

Nominal rate will apply. Staff accommodation will be offered should suite accommodation not be available. This rate is for accommodation and meals only and does not include game viewing.

Transfers...

There is a scheduled daily flight between Johannesburg International Airport and Madikwe Game Reserve.
The flight leaves at 12:00 from Johannesburg and arrives in Madikwe at approximately 13:00. The return flight leaves Madikwe at approximately 13:15 and arrives in Johannesburg at approximately 14:15.
Rates for 2006:       R1,175.00 per person (one way) from 1st January until the 30th of April and from the 1st of August until 
                                the 31st of December 2006.
Transfers between the Madikwe Airstrip and the lodge through the game reserve are complimentary.
Flights from Sun City to Madikwe and back can also be booked, as part of the scheduled flight. The cost of this leg, if taken in conjunction with a Johannesburg International Airport – Madikwe, or visa versa, flight would be R 1,175 (2006 rates).
This option is particularly convenient when connecting with the Cape Town – Sun City flight.
Charter flights can also be arranged.

Road transfers can be arranged from Johannesburg International Airport to Makanyane Safari Lodge and visa versa. (The drive takes about 3½ hours).
Rates for 2006:       R1,700.00 for 1 to 7 passengers (one way) until 31st of  September 2006.
