Children: Children under the age of 12 are permitted on safari at the sole discretion of the manager or guide. Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on safari, and where possible, a kiddies safari will be arranged between normal safari times. The lodge reserves the right to impose similar restrictions for family unit guests if it is believed that safety may be compromised. Baby sitting facilities can be arranged at the lodge at an additional charge

Rhulani
Safari Lodge offers five star bushveld accommodation in the Madikwe
Game Reserve, which is situated in the North West Province of South
Africa. Under the control of ‘Operation Phoenix’, the largest game
translocation in the world, the reserve was established to restore farmland
to its former natural environment.

The Lodge...
Water cascades gently into the meandering rock pool

Rhulani is made up of 7 luxurious en-suite chalets, each with spectacular
views of the bush, indoor and outdoor showers, air-conditioning, mini bar

There is one luxury two bed roomed family suite with private deck, lounge

Children of all ages are welcome at Rhulani.
There are a wide range of games for the children to keep themselves
occupied with, as well as a T.V and dvd player which can be installed
into the chalet or family room. Babysitters are also available should
parents wish to go out on a game drive alone and if need be, meals
for children may be arranged for different times to those of
the adults.

Dining alfresco under the exquisite African night sky, around a roaring
fire is the perfect way to end a perfect day. Traditional Southern African cuisine is complimented by a selection of
world-class local wines.

For an exceptional conference experience, Rhulani is the perfect venue.
Situated close enough to Johannesburg and Pretoria to assure valuable
time is not lost in transport logistics, yet remote enough to provide
the ultimate break. A conference booking is on an exclusive usage basis,
the entire lodge is available for conference use ensuring groups have
total flexibility with their itinerary. Fly-ins and chartered bus transport
can be arranged for delegates convenience, arrive in style and make the
most out of the event.
The Reserve...
Experience day and night game drives in the malaria-free Madikwe Game
Reserve where the Big Five, Cheetah and the endangered Wild Dog can be
viewed or experience the peace of the wilderness on a guided walk. Guests
typically encounter three to four of the Big Five in a single game drive
and are also likely to see the endangered Wild Dog and Cheetah.
Guests will be able to experience the positive results of 'Operation
Phoenix', the largest translocation program of wildlife ever attempted,
where 60 000 animals of many species were settled in Madikwe Game Reserve.
